Welcome to my Business. I'm Bärbel, originally from Amsterdam, The Netherlands and am now proudly serving the Bonaire community.
As a mom of two, I know exactly how important it is to feel special, pampered and beautiful in a relaxed ambiance. I've designed my salon experience in a way that'll leave you feeling uplifted, relaxed and more confident than you've ever felt before.
I've been a stylist for 20+ years and have never been more in love with my clients or my craft. I take great pride for the fact that I continuously take classes to learn the newest trends and techniques. In Amsterdam I loved working at Koffijberg Hairdressers and Toni & Guy: I learned so much.
While most stylists offer a great first visit and solid maintenance care thereafter, I see my role as your stylist a bit differently. I work together with all of my guests to create a long-term haircare plan to ensure their cut, color and style look fresh always and there won't ever be a time where you feel bored or stuck in a routine. I'll be checking in throughout the year to see if any new issues have come up and we'll work through them together.
When I'm not in the salon, I am often channeling my inner mermaid and try to have my toes in the sea or sand at least once a week. I go to all the great spots to snorkel and know all the tips to keep your hair looking amazing even after a dip in the ocean.
I have a secret baking talent and if you're in the salon on Mondays, you'll often get to try my latest chocolate chunk cookies, blondies or dipped shortbreads.
